Tina is a transformational leader with a proven record of over 25 years in generating and developing intercultural relationships, managing projects from concept to completion, designing organizational strategies, creating adult learning and development programs, and coaching individuals to success. She is experienced in adolescent development, family engagement, management, organizational development, professional development, and training. Tina has served as an accomplished educator in Pre-K through Secondary Education and held various roles within the church, including Sunday school teacher, Sunday school superintendent, and youth director. She has worked with students and families from diverse racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds.

 

Dr. Tina Allen holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Northcentral University. She is licensed to teach Pre-K to third grade with an endorsement for 4th and 5th graders. She also holds a master’s degree in education in Elementary Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Jones International University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Ohio State University. Currently, she serves as a Master Math Teacher with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and has previously worked with Columbus City Schools in Ohio and Cuyahoga Community College. Tina also holds a certificate of completion from Harvard University Graduate School of Education in "Closing the Achievement Gap: Strategies for Excellence with Equity."

 

She is the host of the "FaithValue" podcast dedicated to inspiring others to find value in faith. Tina is also certified in Restorative Practices and Restorative Justice Circles. She has been a guest blogger for The Ohio Education Association, authoring "Silent Tears," which discusses the impacts of over-testing in Ohio Elementary Schools. Tina is also an educational speaker and workshop presenter on family engagement, restorative practices, and classroom technology. She has been a featured speaker at events like "Sparking Connection: A Framework for High School Family Engagement" for the National University Women in Leadership Conference, the Family and Friends Summit in Midland, Michigan hosted by "Beloved Ministry," and various national, state, school district, and local educational conferences.

 

 Tina aims to inspire others to build their value in their faith, rather than in other beliefs. She seeks to create educational opportunities and pathways that ensure all students, regardless of their zip code, have access to quality education and can become the best version of themselves. By doing so, they will contribute to the well-being of their families, community, and society.
