Dr. Tina Allen is an educational leader, author, speaker, and family engagement expert with over 25 years of experience supporting students, families, educators, and communities. She is the President and CEO of TLA Consulting, Inc., a multifaceted organization that advances work in family engagement, instructional coaching, grant writing, authorship, and faith-based leadership. Dr. Allen holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, with research focused on family engagement in secondary school settings. Her work bridges research, lived experience, and practice, helping schools and organizations strengthen authentic school–family partnerships, improve instructional outcomes, and build equitable systems of support.

Dr. Allen specializes in family engagement at the secondary level, particularly in urban school environments. She partners with schools and districts to move beyond surface-level involvement toward culturally responsive, relationship-centered family partnerships. As a grant writer and consultant, she supports organizations in securing funding and implementing sustainable, high-impact initiatives.
